Take Action

Taking action has become a cliche, but as most cliches prove, the statements are true. You can goal set all you want. You can think positive all you want. You can tell yourself you’ll be a success and believe in yourself.

None of that matters if you do not take action. Goal setting is great! I do it every day. But goals are meaningless if you do not act on them. Thinking positive is great, but if you do not act positively, you will still be miserable.

Taking action requires determination and motivation. You have to want something so badly, you will do anything to get it. There has to be that breaking point where you absolutely have to do it. If the motivation is not there, it is probably something you do not want to do. Or, you continually fool yourself into believe you can’t accomplish it. You put yourself down, you come up with excuse after excuse. One little doubt will automatically derail your efforts and you go back to being unhappy. Is that what you want? I don’t think so.

Figure out what you want. Then want it so badly you’ll do anything to get it. The take action. It can be small or big, or anywhere in between. Just do something! Anything! Take action and you’ll see your dreams come true!
